Dependency injection seems to be the way to go for any new php project, since this technique is a core concept of modern frameworks like Symfony 2, Zend Framework 2 und TYPO3 Flow. By using dependency injection, we gain implicit documentation of dependencies, better testability and decoupling of components. But doesn't this sound like our legacy system that still earns our money could as well benefit from the use of dependency injection?
